It all started on a napkin during happy hour. Next thing you know, there is this angry but adorable cactus following me around.
In the beginning, I thought it was luck,
I had worked at three unicorn companies as a senior manager, Groupon, Gousto and HelloFresh and each time, I had the good fortune of working with outstanding team members with a very low churn rate. Then after a few nudges from friends and colleagues I decided to try it out on my own.
I left the employment world and started my own growth consultancy, Morgan Davis Marketing and Adversiting, and implemented all my lessons and structures from my previous companies as a manager. I came on board with a wonderful pet food company, Edgard & Cooper, in their digital division and within 2 years we had 10x the revenue and tripled the team with zero churn in my team. In 4 years, we had managed to achieve over 40x growth, all with a stable and happy team. From there I started giving some ad hoc trainings to other managers. Seeing the engagement and success of those trainings really brought it home to me.
That’s when I knew I had to start Rebel in the Pot.
